Redundancy Payment Calculator

This calculator advises the payment you will be entitled to using the UK's Statutory Redundancy Pay guidlines

You are entitled to statutory redundancy pay if you are an employee and have worked for your current employer for at least 2 years

The amount is based on your age and length of time employed on the date of redundancy,

The length of time is the number of FULL years worked, e.g. 6 years and 3 months becomes 6 years for the calculation

If you are under 22 on the redundancy date you are entitled to half a week's pay per full year

If you are 22 or older but under 41 on the redundancy date you are entitled to one week's pay per full year

If you are 41 or older on the redundancy date you are entitled to one and a half week's pay per full year

The maximum entitlement for full years is capped at 20, Weekly pay is capped at 475.00 and the maximum amount is 14,250

Redundancy pay under 30,000 is not taxed.

Tax and National Insurance are due for any wages or Holiday pay you are owed
